Courses on French
as a foreign language
These courses are designed for all adult foreigners who wish to learn French or perfect their language skills.

Courses are given by specialists in French as a second language, using the most modern methods for teaching living languages.
Classes with fewer students, all of the same French level wishing to improve:
- Communication skills in an authentic setting
- Practice in comprehension and expression (written and oral )
- wishing to improve their French
- Audiovisual equipment in the language laboratory
Courses of 1 hour and 30 minutes per week
- Writing workshop
- Multimedia workshop
- Press workshop
- Phonetic correction
- Culture and Civilization
- French for the business world
5 two-hour lectures a year.
Two teaching formulas
Beginners and advanced beginners students - Level : 0 - A1*
15 hours of coursework per week.
Intermediary students - Level A2 - B2*
12 hours of coursework per week
+ 2 or more thematic workshops a week (additional workshops optional)
Advanced Students - Level C1 -C2*
9 hours of coursework per week
thematic workshops a week (6 hours)

Students can structure part of their learning program according to their own needs and objectives: increasing their linguistics level, preparing for the D.E.L.F. and D.A.L.F. diplomas, even personal culture...
University conferences, movie club is open to all students registered at SCEFEE
The organization of courses is subject to change by the administration.
At the end of the semester, a certificate will be given to students indicating the work completed and the level of knowledge obtained.

Schedules of the courses EFE - Semester 1
TCF (Test of knowledge of French) is also available for the students.
This French test is set by the National Education Ministry, which allows to validate the student’s level in general French language, for the non-francophone public.
Two sessions of the TCF exam are planned : February and July
Fee of registration: 127€ payment in the order of the Accountant of the university of Provence.
